Liquor 101

The Cocktail industry and (to a lesser extent) the Liquor industry tend to make people feel like what they do is difficult. It’s some kind of alchemy or intricate art form, beyond the scope of the average person. The industry is intimidating and overwhelming and there is a lot of mixed messages and conflicting information. One of the things I’m passionate about is bridging that gap. The truth of making cocktails and using spirits to the best of their ability lies somewhere between ‘Pintrest’ and ‘wizardry’. In the Liquor 101 and “Definitive Guides” and “Comprehensive Guides”, I’ve done my best to lay out how cocktails and spirits can be understood by everyone. You don’t need to know everything… just more than all your friends.
